MACH Triune's Triple Crown
Lori Michaels has been involved in the “dog world” since 1983. After earning national honors in the 4-H Dog program, becoming the first 4-H member to earn an NCDA agility title in the early '90's and competing in AKC and UKC obedience trials, she focused her attention to training assistance dogs at Kansas Specialty Dog Service. As coordinator of the Service Dog program, she implemented new positive training protocols to help shape more highly skilled partners for people with disabilities. She was active on several committees of Assistance Dogs International setting the standards and ethics of placing assistance dogs.

Lori has been fully dedicated to the sport of agility over the last 12 years by competing at national and international events, as well as instructing local classes and seminars throughout the US.  Along with her Shelties and border collies, Lori has appeared in event finals at national agility championships 6 times and USDAA Grand Prix, Performance Speed Jumping, Steeplechase and DAM Team finals 11 times, as well as earning multiple regional championship titles. Lori and Skye were members of the AKC/USA Agility World Team in 2006 and 2007, helping their team finish 4th in 2007.
